Akira Derringer

Akira Derringer is a very exciting colt. I have always been a fan of the late Arboria Noble Victor and when an opportunity arose to purchase a breeding to Noble Victor’s only standing son, SpiceOLife Present Tense, I jumped on it! I didn’t have a mare to use the breeding on so I went on the lookout for a mare to lease that would best suit that stallion. I was very lucky that Teri Rumens of Fire Run Farm allowed me to lease her world champion, Fire Run Natalia. I believed the cross would be a good one and Teri agreed with me! Natalia is a stunningly beautiful, great sized mare. She is snorty and airy with a balanced way of going along with a gorgeous long curvy neck and a chiseled typey head. Present Tense added the world champion park harness title to his already long list of world championships while Natalia was pregnant and I anxiously waited for spring for my foal to arrive.

I was absolutely thrilled with the resulting foal. He is good sized, well proportioned, pretty and curvy. He has a tremendous amount of presence and an arrogant way of going. Dare was everything I could hope for except one thing: he was a colt. Dare was purchased by Red River Valley Enterprises and is currently in training with Copper Leaf Stables. I have high hopes for this colt and believe he will carry on the legacy of his sire. The future is bright for this fabulous colt!
