SSLLC In Vogue

Vogue has proven herself to be a superb broodmare. She is bold and upheaded with a long curvy neck and an amazing shoulder. She has a great, deep body and a wonderful hip. Vogue moves with a bold lofty air, with plenty of action & drive off both ends. She has a pretty, expressive head with large eyes and gorgeous tippy ears. She is ALWAYS snorty and flagging her tail. Vogue had a tendon injury as a two year old and we were lucky to save her, she has healed and is now pasture sound. With her injury we changed focus from the show ring to the breeding shed. Her first foal was a beautiful filly by TSL Starcraft for Ridgewood Farm. Her first Akira foal, Akira Embellished by HVK Bell Flaire, is already a champion. Vogue was next matched to the young stallion, Bazinga and produced the impressive Akira Fantasize. In 2019 she produced Akira Giselle by the late Cedar Creek Harlequin. In 2020 she had a colt by Ledgefield’s Jagged Edge, Akira Hamilton.

Vogue was bred by Shengrund Stables LLC, in Pennsylvania. She is by a sire I’ve always respected, HVK Man About Town and out of one of my all-time favorite mares: Arboria Victor’s Pride by Arboria Noble Victor.
